Some of our favorite restaurants for lunch are Great Outdoors. Press Café is perfect for any meal and has an amazing outdoor space next to the river! HG Supply Co, Woodshed Smoke House and Ellerbe Fine Foods are great for lunch and dinner! Joe T. Garcia’s is a must if you have not been! Expect a line on Friday night, but pitchers of their famous margs can be purchased and enjoyed in line!

If you’re looking to waste some time, check out the cattle drive held at 11:30 am and 4:00 pm in the stockyards! If you want to drink some cocktails and play some pickleball, Courtside Kitchen is the perfect place! I would recommend taking a quick drive-through for all our out-of-town guests that haven’t seen TCU’s campus!

As far as nightlife goes, the Stockyards are the place to be! If you haven’t been to Billy Bob’s, it is a must. It is the LARGEST Honkey Tonk in the world where you can learn to line dance, watch bull-riding, and listen to some of the best country music artists…all under one roof! Second Rodeo Brewing is a brewery and beer garden that is great for drinks after dinner or before going to the bars! If you’re looking to break out your dancing boots, head to Basement Bar, Billy Bob’s, Cantina Cadillac or Neon Moon!
